My name is Seema Haider and I am a published, South Asian Children’s book illustrator based in Ottawa, Canada.

I have always had a love affair with creativity in all its forms. So much so, that I became a professional make-up and hair artist for over 25 years. The Pandemic allowed me to explore other sides of my creative passions. I discovered my love for illustrating and am now focused on the magical world of children’s book illustration through digital drawing and other mediums. I have a background in Psychology which has helped me to understand the importance of the formidable years in a young child’s mind.
